Pete Olson Jr. & his family moved to the mountains of Montana from Minnesota in the 1980's. Having learned the knife making trade, Pete & his two sons, Pete III & Anthony, constructed a shop near their log home and are now producing an excellent quality line of hand made knives.

The blades are made of 1075 high grade carbon steel with an hardness on the Rockwell Scale of RC-2. The high sheen comes from the heavy amount of chromium used and is buffed on a wheel. Due to the hardness of the blade, they are hard to sharpen. These blades are intended as collectors pieces, not for hunting & fishing.

The handles are made from antlers, carved from white tail and mule deer and buffed to a natural sheen. There is a clear ceramic sealer on the painted areas of this piece of art.

Sheaths are made from #2 grade cowhide strap, triple layered with a spacer inserted to prevent the blade from slicing through the sheath. The cowhide is hand tooled and stained. Each sheath is made individually to fit the knife.
