Virginia Cityhas been around a century ormore now and has had itsups and downs. This picture of the boardwalk, probably taken in thefifties, shows the unrenovatedstore fronts along the main street. You can just see the old electricalwiring hanging from the boardwalk awning. Now, most of thestores have been restored, but we've kept theboardwalk. Our on-line boardwalk,though not as old, still offers some of the samemerchandise sold in Virginia City inthe "Good Ole' Days" of the 19thcentury.  |
